Access to justice is a fundamental right, yet many Nigerians — particularly the poor, women, and marginalised groups — are unable to navigate or afford the legal system. Zedos Humanitarian Foundation addresses this gap by providing free legal assistance, advice, and representation to those who need it most.

Our legal aid work includes:

• Free legal consultations for individuals and community groups
• Support with land disputes, family law, and tenancy matters
• Advocacy and awareness on legal rights at the community level
• Referrals to pro bono legal partners for complex cases

Many Nigerian communities lack access to basic healthcare services. Our health programmes bring essential medical support directly to underserved populations, with a focus on preventive care, maternal health, and health education.

Our health initiatives include:

• Community health outreach and medical missions
• Maternal and child health awareness campaigns
• Distribution of essential medicines and health supplies to vulnerable households
• Health education workshops on hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention

Education is the foundation of sustainable development. We work to improve access to quality education and practical skills for young people and adults, with particular focus on those who have been left behind by the formal education system.

Our education programmes include:

• Scholarships and learning support for children from low-income households
• Literacy and numeracy programmes for out-of-school youth and adults
• Vocational and skills training in areas such as tailoring, ICT, and trades
• Mentorship and career guidance for young people

Poverty is both a cause and consequence of inequality. Our economic empowerment programmes support individuals and households to build sustainable livelihoods, access financial services, and achieve economic independence.

Our economic empowerment work includes:

• Microenterprise support and business development training
• Financial literacy and savings group formation
• Support for women-led micro and small businesses
• Linkages to microfinance and credit facilities for eligible participants
